Tibetan Children's Village
From its humble beginning 54 years ago, Tibetan Children's Village has today become a thriving, integrated educational community for destitute Tibetan children in exile, as well as for hundreds of those escaping from Tibet every year. It has established branches in India extending from Ladakh in the North to Bylakuppe in South, with over 16,726 children under its care.

Founded in 2006 the Tibetan Home of Hope near the city of Xining on the Tibetan Plateau (the Tibetan area of Amdo) brings shelter, healthcare, education, and love to Tibetan children who would otherwise be abandoned. Today there are 140 children living in a stimulating, self-sustaining community which they can always call home. The Home of Hope was founded by Tashi Dolma, a doctor, living in the Unites States who with her first savings founded the Home of Hope near the town where she grew up and where most of her family still reside. With money earned and raised in the US, she has created this special community of motivated children and staff.
